Arrangement

The reference to forest years (FY) in these reports covers the year from 1 October to 30 September; this period having been regarded as the most suitable for planning forest operations, particularly planting. For financial reasons the forest year was changed to run from 1 April to 31 March and this was done by extending season 1967/68 to run to 31 March 1969.
