The functions of the Proposals Sub-Committee were to approve, recommend and review proposals for curriculum development work. They were also empowered to initiate such work as they felt was desirable.
The Chair of the Proposals Sub-Committee was appointed by the Board of Management, who had the authority to alter or dissolve the membership of the Sub-Committee.
The Proposals Sub-Committee provided the Board of Management with a brief annual report on its programme of small scale projects. All their recommendations were referred to the Board for approval.
