Papers included are: correspondence on the possible use of broadcasting of adult educational courses on local radio stations, a manuscript statistical report on students attending residential colleges, correspondence on new accommodation for Plater College at the Oxford site, letters concerning salary structure for tutorial staff at residential colleges, part-time lecturers' fees, the Russell report on adult education in 1969 and correspondence between the residential colleges committee and the Department of Education and Science about the payment of fees to the College Development Fund. Some files include papers commenting on the report by the Youth Service Development Council (YSDC).
This series seems to have been created around 1968-1970 .It includes files originally registered in an FE series which does not otherwise appear to have survived in the Department of Education and Science.
