Most of the minutes and papers of Cabinet committees after the Second World War will be found in CAB 134 except for those of the Lord President's Committee in CAB 132 and of the Defence Committee and its successor, the Defence and Oversea Policy Committee, which are in CAB 131 and CAB 148 respectively. The minutes and papers of ad hoc committees will be found in CAB 130.
Minutes and papers of the Joint Intelligence Sub-committee (later Committee), including the period form 1942 to 1957 when the Committee was part of the Chiefs of Staff structure in the Ministry of Defence, will be found in CAB 158, CAB 159, CAB 176 and CAB 179. War Books are in CAB 175.
Committee organisation books up to 1965 will be found in CAB 161. Committee lists from 1965 onwards are in CAB 177.
