Description

Folio 251: Stanier Porten to R. Walpole. Viscount Weymouth will be pleased if Walpole can obtain the Court of Portugal's consent to `Mr Baynton's sollicitation to be employed for the Redemption of the Portuguese slaves at Algiers.' If so, Walpole can introduce him to a reputable British merchant at Lisbon.
