Folio 268: Duke of Newcastle to James Dormer. Governor Harrison has `an affair depending at the Court where you are in which he is deeply concerned in point of interest.' Dormer is to support the representations which Mr Short is making on his behalf, including `the interposition of HM's name in whatsoever you shall think proper.' Newcastle will also be particularly obliged for Dormer's help in this affair.
