Encloses copy of letter from Ayres de Sá (f.309) with English translation (f.307), clarifying the position of some of the English prizes now in the Tagus. Promotion of the Duke de Lafõens to the Council of War, with copy of relevant decree (f.311) and English translation (f.313). `There is great activity in procuring every person that can be made use of as a sailor.'.
