Chalmers of the ship Lord Germaine of London, and José Gonsalvez Marques, master of the Portuguese brig from Bahia, with copies of protests, counter-protests, and mutual accusations on both sides. Copious documentation in English and French.
Date and place: 1778 Jan 31 Cape Coast Castle.
