Elphinstone has been dismissed his ship; but if a favourable opportunity offers, Walpole should intercede for him with De Mello e Castro that the Queen `would interest herself on his behalf'. Encloses copy of a letter to the Post-Master General (wanting) concerning the regularity of the Falmouth packets.
