Folio 166: Sir John Hort to Viscount Weymouth. Denial of Mediterranean passes, and difficult case of the Polly, Denis Driscoll, master. Difficulty of finding legal complement of British sailors for British merchant ships. Wreck of the American privateer Heart of Oak near Figueira. He has authorized the British Deputy Consul there to `exercise the common offices of humanity' on behalf of her destitute crew.
