Folio 191: R. Walpole to Viscount Weymouth. Dr. Wade, physician to the English Factory, who has been called in as a consulting physician to King Joseph, states that latter `may live somewhat in the present state of his disorder, unless he receives a fresh attack ofthe palsy.' Encloses an answer from Pombal in reply to his request for an audience (ff.193, 195). Congratulations on English victory on Long Island. Will take up Mercer's claim.
