Folio 64: Viscount Weymouth to R. Walpole. Understands the Court of Spain has suspended negotiations with that of Portugal until it receives `some satisfaction for the taking of their vessels and the imprisonment of their crews.' King George, who is not `less jealous of the honour of the Crown of Portugal than of his own,' thinks this request is reasonable. Walpole should try to induce Pombal to agree to this.
