Folio 84: R. Walpole to Earl of Rochford. He has protested to M. de Mello on the Lisbon Senate's interference with English tavern-keepers under the pretext of making them take out a licence. De Mello "takes the thing in its proper light," and will, he thinks, redress the complaint as desired.
