Folio 230: Earl of Rochford to R. Walpole. Approves of the line he has taken in the Argyle case and criticises the obstructive Portuguese attitude. The Falmouth packet smuggling problem will be "taken into consideration." Regrets the Portuguese ministers are so little disposed to give any satisfaction in the various disputes with British merchants.
