Folio 259: Capt. John Stott R.N., to Lords of the Admiralty. The Viceroy, though polite and civil, refused to accept drafts on Navy Boards and insisted on ready cash, which he luckily happened to have of his own. Suggests Court of Lisbon be asked to tell Viceroy toaccept bills on Navy Boards in future. News of Spanish and French ships bound for Falkland Islands.
