Folio 164: Earl of Rochford to Sir John Hort. Maintenance of the English pirates at Lisbon and the legal expenses will be paid by the Admiralty; but Factory must be warned this is not to be taken as a precedent. No news yet received from Capt. Braithwate R.N. on H.M.S. Liverpool incident. Dissatisfaction that no punishment yet inflicted on the Almotacel involved in the Connell case. C. Murray appointed to succeed T. Cheap as Consul at Madeira.
