Folio 197: Sir John Hort to Viscount Weymouth. Encloses a "very rude sketch of the harbour of Ferrol", taken on the spot, and very different from those in printed maps, as also particulars of naval stores etc. there (ff.199-202), all received from Thomas Bully, formerly chief-carpenter of H.M.S. Centurion, and captured by the Spaniards "not unfairly" when a logwood cutter in the Bay of Honduras. News from Cadiz. Arrival of Cardinal's hat for da Cunha made the occasion of much feasting and testifies to the "cordial correspondence which at present subsists between this Court and that of Rome.".
