Folio 191: Sir John Hort to Viscount Weymouth. Pombal still being very evasive and dilatory over the Connell case, which greatly worries the local British merchant. Reported detention of the Argyle, Capt. Robinson, at Rio de Janeiro. "Unusual bustle" of French couriers observed at Lisbon. Spanish naval intelligence reports.
