Folio 228: E. Hay to Count of Oeiras. Since a Governor-General has now been appointed to the Azores, he requests that he may be given copies of the Anglo-Portuguese treaties concerning British rights and should be ordered to maintain them and to bring to justice the murderer of Patrick Brown, Vice-Consul at Terceira, in 1762.
