Folio 118: Formal attestation by the Managers of the privateers Lord Clive and Ambuscade stating that the cowardice and incompetence of Capt. W. Roberts was responsible for the death of Capt. John Macnamara and the loss of the Lord Clive in a naval engagement with the Spaniards off the Rio de la Plata. Endorsed: `An exact copy - the original being in my possession. James Mcnamara.' And: `to be sent to the Duke of Richmond's office.'.
