Description

Folio 114: Duke of Richmond to E. Hay. Encloses letter from James Macnamara R.N. to H. Seymour Conway with the object of exchanging this for the paper which Macnamara was obliged to sign in prison. Richmond now authorizes Hay to ask the Portuguese ministry to do this, as he hopes and presumes they will do.
