Folio 27: Extract of the court-martial sentence on the 24 Oct. 1765, on Colonel H. L. de Graveron, Lt.-Colonel Alexander Kinloch and Major John Herff, of the Regiment of Royal Foreigners, accused of large-scale frauds and embezzlements. Graveron was sentenced to be hanged, and the other two cashiered. King commuted Graveron's sentence to shooting by a firing-squad, and confirmed the other two.
Date and place: 1766 Jan 31 Lisbon.
