Encloses written copy with translation (ff.27-34) of the court-martial sentences upon the field officers lately belonging to the now disbanded regiment of Royal Foreigners. His comments on the same, and the Count of Oeiras' dislike of the regiment. Relaxation and inefficiency of military discipline, `owing chiefly to the want of a proper person to command'.
