Folio 45: E. Hay to Earl of Halifax. Portuguese ministers state that Charles Douglas' claim against Caetano Correia de Sá (f.33) should be submitted through the Viceroy of Goa. As C. Douglas is now dead, Hay has written to his brother, Lieut.-Colonel Stewart Douglas, accordingly. [Relevant papers (ff.47, 49) enclosed].
