Folio 203: E. Hay to Earl of Egremont. Departure of Sir H. and Lady Frankland for Bath, the former `is undoubtedly in a very precarious state of health'. Court, diplomatic, and naval news. The government no longer allows the publication of the cargo-lists of the newly arrived Brazil fleets; but he has been informed they include 22,000 chests of sugar, 19,000 rolls of tobacco, 2,000 barrels of rice, 100,000 hides, 20 million cruzados in gold and 2 million cruzados in silver. Spanish treasure-fleet from Vera Cruz reportedly landed 13 million dollars worth of treasure at Cadiz.
