Folio 212: Earl of Egremont to E. Hay. King is disappointed to hear of the dismissal by the Count of Oeiras (f.197) of the Oporto Factory's justified complaints against the Alto Douro Wine Co. Hay is to take up the matter again, contrasting the speedy and effectivemilitary aid sent to Portugal, with Portuguese procrastination and delay on this point.
