Description

Folio 130: Earl of Loudoun to Count of Oeiras. Blames Oeiras's subordinates for most of the delays, but admits the British Commissary, Mr. Ward, was to blame in one instance, so has dismissed and replaced him.

Date and place: 1762 Aug 20 Lisbon.
