Description

Folio 10: Earl of Loudoun to Earl of Egremont. Has taken over the command from Lord Tyrawly who will give Egremont a full account of the situation on his return. Encloses copies of correspondence with Count of Oeiras, showing difficulties he is having over the supply of horses, mules, and provisions (ff.18-40). Dispositions of the British troops. Count Lippe gone up-country, but expected back soon.
