King is also relieved to hear that what he has so far seen of the Portuguese military preparations is reassuring, and hopes the rest will prove so. Is confident that he will soon infuse the Portuguese troops with a proper spirit and successfully repel the `unjust and unprovoked Spanish invasion'. Egremont adds his own personal congratulations and best wishes.
