Description

Folio 319: Sir H. Frankland to Earl of Egremont. Factory are very uneasy that the Desembargo do Paço has refused to revise the sentence confiscating Humphrey Bunster's gold in 1755, as this establishes a most undesirable and dangerous precedent. His discussion withDom Luis da Cunha and latter's soothing assurances. Naval and military intelligence of Spanish America which he has obtained from Cadiz, but is uncertain of its reliability.
