Folio 249: E. Hay to W. Pitt. Forwards printed copy of the sentence against the ex-Jesuit Gabriel Malagrida, together with English translation (ff.251-97). The death sentence was pronounced by the civil court and not by the Inquisition, as he had erroneously statedin his letter of the 26 Sept. (f.225).
Date and place: 1761 Oct 19 Lisbon.
