Folio 203: E. Hay to W. Pitt. Encloses renewed complaints of British Factory at Oporto against the monopolistic Alto Douro Wine Co., with supporting documents (ff.205-10). It is no use his protesting any more to the ministry at Lisbon, so he sends them to Pitt for information and action, if and when thought advisable.
Date and place: 1761 Aug 19 Lisbon.
