Folio 20: Kinnoull to W. Pitt. His exceptionally gracious reception by the King of Portugal and all the royal family, when offering King George's congratulations on the recent royal marriage. Protocol problems and the French ambassador. English merchants' complaints over the new police regulations. Kinnoull's rejection of them and his criticism of the `disorderly wretches' from Ireland who infest Lisbon.
