Folio 93: Earl of Kinnoull to W. Pitt. Seizure of Mr. Kelly's account-books by the Judge-Conservator and their restoration after protest by the Consul. Factory is greatly alarmed, but he thinks the incident can be settled satisfactorily through the Count of Oeiras. Will take up the problem of the Wine Co. of Alto Douro and the Judge-Conservator.
Date and place: 1760 May 3 Lisbon.
