Folio 27: Earl of Kinnoull to W. Pitt. Lengthy account of his discussions with the Secretaries of State, his private audience with the King, with copy of his speech on this occasion (f.37). His gracious reception by King, Queen, and all the royal family, nobility,etc. His cordial relations with Spanish ambassador, Dutch and Prussian ministers. Hopes that King and his ministers will rest contented with King George II's formal disavowal of Boscawen's action, and that he can now proceed to take up the other business relating to British trade.
