Folio 19: W. Pitt to Earl of Kinnoull. King is glad to hear of his honourable reception. Expects to hear soon that first part of his mission has been concluded to mutual satisfaction and that he can obtain equally good results on taking up the second part [relative to complaints of British merchants]. Approves of his reply to Count of Oeiras over the problem of a public entry and leaves the final decision to him.
