Folio 242: E. Hay to Claudius Amyand. His analysis of current problems in Anglo-Portuguese trade. Error in the wheat and flour sent in the relief-convoy. Reshuffle in the Portuguese government, `but Mons. Carvalho is in effect Prime Minster, tho' not declared so, for nothing is done without him.' Rev. Williamson has gone to England for his health.
