Folio 182: H. Fox to E. Hay. Encloses a memorial from the Committee of Lisbon merchants at London on the demands to be made to the Portuguese Court for the revival and security of their trade. He is to consider this with Castres and to report back. His own plan hasbeen rejected, as he will be informed by his brother the Bishop of St. Asaph (cf. f.188 below).
