Folio 85: G. Crowle to [C. Amyand]. Visits from the Lord-Proprietor and his Governor of the island of Principe, with possibility of clandestine British slave-trade there. Factory have been very polite to him but a very unpleasant spirit still prevails among them and they talk of nothing but grievances. Hopes he can keep things quiet. Spanish Crown is remitting enormous sums to Italy.
