Folio 130: J. B. Parker to Duke of Newcastle. Alarm of an English invasion of Galicia and defensive precautions taken by Spaniards. The Spaniards are also trying to trace his informants in Galicia, since they know he sends frequent intelligence reports to London. As extracts from these are sometimes published in the London Gazette under dateline of Oporto, he requests Newcastle to stop this practice, in order to protect `the authors of my intelligence' from discovery.
