Folio 287: J. B. Parker to Duke of Newcastle. Has not found anything of interest in the papers on board the Havana-bound prize (f.285). The Triumph has retaken an English ship from the Spaniards. Submits his account for intelligence expenses totalling £379, drawn in favour of Arthur Stert as usual. `This Factory is very impatient for a convoy to carry home about 40 sail.'.
Date and place: 1744 July 14 Oporto.
