Folio 94: J. B. Parker to Duke of Newcastle. His correspondence with the Captain-General of Galicia over the exchange of prisoners-of-war (ff.98-124). He has received 316 British prisoners-of-war at Valença and has arranged for their subsistence until they can leave. Difficulties he is having with R.N. officers, Consul Jackson, and Oporto Factory over this. Is particularly annoyed with Jackson, and hopes Castres will order him to be more cooperative. News from Galicia.
