Folio 117: Charles Compton to Duke of Newcastle. Portuguese have now protested over the capture of the Spanish ship at Faro by H.M.S. Romney, to which he has given a provisional and negative reply, quoting the precedent of the St. Joseph (f.111) which Portuguese affirm they are still trying to reclaim. King and all the royal family now at Caldas.
