Description

Folio 99: Charles Compton to Duke of Newcastle. H.M.S. Suffolk left on the 29 Dec., after being repaired. Governor of Gibraltar willing to give the Sicilian priest (f.81) a hearing if he will go there. Precautions at Gibraltar against plague and Tangier and Tetuan. King John's fainting fits continue. Naval movements.
