Description

Folio 77: Joint Declaration by Consuls-General Abraham Castres and John Gildermeester, that the Dutch prize Oaktree brought in by Capt. Robert Pett of H.M.S. Diamond, shall be immediately released upon condition that no demands shall be made on either side and no complaint preferred against the captor.

Date and place: 1742 Sept 3 Lisbon.
