Description

Folio 288: Philip Sexton to Philip Jackson. Acknowledges receipt of Admiralty instructions regarding the relief of prisoners-of-war but have to apply them with caution. Denounces insolent letter of Capt. D. Macartny (f.284), whom they have done singular service to heretofore', but will now disregard.

Date and place: 1741 July 3 St Sebastian.
