Folio 280: J. B. Parker to Duke of Newcastle. Latest naval intelligence from Galicia. Successful raid by H.M.S. Gibraltar, H.M.S. Grampus and H.M.S. Argyle on the river of Vigo. Prizes, which include a Portuguese ship, are being claimed by local Portuguese and English merchants so are being sent to Gibraltar. Relief for English prisoners-of-war at Saragossa, St. Sebastian, Cadiz, etc. (ff.284-88). Fears Spanish Court may cancel their own small contribution to the prisoners-of-war allowance.
