Folio 248: J. B. Parker to Duke of Newcastle. Capture of the Smyrna ship Wilmington by the Spaniards. Capture of a Spanish barque by an English ship off Oporto, and Portuguese demand for its restitution, which English have declined so the ship has been embargoed and the dispute referred to Lisbon.
Date and place: 1741 May 7 Oporto.
