Folio 188: Duke of Newcastle to Lord Tyrawly. Departure of French squadrons from Brest and Toulon, reportedly for the West-Indies. Tyrawly is to keep a very close eye on Chavigny and all his doings and negotiations at Lisbon, and to do his best to prevent Portugal coming to a formal agreement with Spain under the guarantee of France.
