Description

Folio 249: Lord Tyrawly to Duke of Newcastle. Thinks that the Rio de la Plata dispute is escalating. Portuguese claim to have captured secret Spanish orders to renew the attack on Nova Colonia. Rio de Janeiro fleet cannot come home for want of a convoy.
